This little IR remote control just sends two commands. Use it to send an IR code to the IR receiver in the local room, then up the coax to the Affinity switcher to switch from one coaxial source to another.

Most often, we imaging that the codes from this remote would be programmed into a universal remote and set up into a macro so that the local user can change the TV channel and coaxial source with a single button. For instance, a button push could change the TV channel to that of the front-door camera to see who's at the door, then back just as easily!
