The Vanco 280707 4x4 HDMI Matrix with IR and RS232 and Cat5 Balun/Extender Output is the perfect solution for connecting 4 High Definition (HD) Audio/Video (A/V) sources to four different HDTVs or displays (zones) throughout your home. Simply connect the signal source such as Blu-Ray Player, Play Station 3, audio/video receiver, cable or satellite receivers and computers equipped with HDMI output interfaces with a short high-speed HDMI cable to the HDMI Matrix Selector Switch inputs. Connect the HDMI Matrix Selector Switch output RJ-45 ports using dual-runs of Cat 5e or Cat 6 UTP cables to included receivers, which do not require a power supply. Connect the HDMI output from the receivers to high-definition display devices such as HD-LCD, HD-DLP and HD projectors with HDMI input interfaces. Use high-speed HDMI cables that are recommended for the distances that are required for each connection.

Super IR Control
This unit has the capability of being controlled via IR signals. The switch can be controlled from the display. This is accomplished by using an optional IR Receiver pigtail pointing away from the display(s), which can be connected to the receiver boxes at each display. The IR Transmitter / Sender / Emitter pigtail is then connected to the switch and pointed at the source(s). A remote control is used at the display to select switch inputs and outputs. (This is only compatible with Vanco's Super HDMI IR Accessories)

An 8x8 HDMI Matrix with Cat5 Balun/Extender Output, IR and RS232 if you have more sources and zones you wish to distributel; optionally, if you do not need Cat5 Balun/Extender Output, a 4x4 HDMI Matrix with IR and RS232 is also available, each item sold separately.
