RTiPanel Licensing

How licensing works:

A separate RTiPanel license will need to be purchased for each Apple or Android device in an Integration Designer system file. This is a two-step process, that involves purchasing a license code and redeeming this license code, which will generate the file that will be used to enable the RTiPanel App in the Integration Designer system file.

The actual RTiPanel App is available for download for free from:

  • Apple devices: Apple App Store
  • Android devices: GooglePlay or Amazon Marketplace

IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ:

  • RTiPanel licenses are registered to a specific XP processor MAC address. Once registered, licenses are not transferable to another XP processor. No refunds, exchanges or license transfers to another XP processor are allowed. Therefore, double check the MAC address you are registering the license to, as this cannot be changed.
  • Use of the RTiPanel from a remote location requires Internet access for the XP series processor using a dynamic DNS service or a static IP address supplied by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) that is being used at the location.

Step 1) Purchase an RTiPanel License Code

Choose which license you wish to purchase and click the corresponding link below to add an RTiPanel license to your shopping cart. Once your purchase is completed, you will receive an email with your license code.  (ex. 12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012)

 Apple iOS Devices

  • iPad License - Single Device: This license will allow one Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch to connect to a single XP control processor.
  • iPad License - Five Devices: This license will allow up to five Apple iPad, iPhone or iPod Touch devices to connect to a single XP control processor.
  • iPhone License - Single Device: This license will allow one Apple iPhone or iPod Touch to connect to a single XP control processor.

Android Devices

  • Android Tablet: This license is required for Android devices with displays 5.5 inches and larger.
  • Android Phone: This license is required for Android smart phones (displays smaller than 5.5 inches).

Step 2) Generate RTiPanel License File

Once you have received your RTiPanel License code, you must click the Generate License link below to redeem the license code and generate a license file. (Ex. ipad_xx_xx_xx_xx_xx_xx.rtilicense).

To complete this step, you will need the MAC address of the XP processor that thisRTiPanel license will be registered to. The .rtilicense file that is generated is added to your Integration Designer system file under the System Properties.

* To find the MAC address of your XP processor: Go to the Communications>Send to Device menu in your Integration Designer file.
