Subwoofers

era subwoofers are designed specifically for the way you listen to music or theater. Deep and musical or, dynamic, loud and dinosaur proof. 
Both subwoofers sport large A/B amplifiers. They can be configured for down-firing or front firing with the flick of the onboard boundary EQ, so they can be installed out of sight in a cabinet or on the floor. Construction of the era subs is very solid. Extensive internal bracing insures that the cabinet will not resonate, causing distortions that rob performance.

By the way, in any system, two subs are better than one, and three are better than two. Using multiple subwoofers produces much smoother and even coverage across a larger space.

Sub 8 
The Sub 8 has an hourglass porting system that reduces chuffing and eliminates that annoying one-note-bass sound you get out of many ported subwoofers. It also contributes to a terrific amount of output and punch. We have found this well suited to home theater. The hourglass shaped port also yields extremely fast response time and wide bandwidth. This is a loud proud sub that you feel in your chest. It performs very well in the 70 Hz and below area and it loves explosions, dinosaurs, jet planes and the low rumble of the mother ship.

era Sub 8 cabinets are constructed from ¾” MDF and are layered with beautiful real wood veneers. Finishes include Rosewood, Cherry, and Piano Gloss Black.
