40RU Equipment Rack with Built-in Cooling
This is a EIA Compliant 19” equipment rack but it is far from ‘standard’. It features integrated venting systems (active venting) as well as other cooling options that require no additional space in the rack. The integrated cooling and optional features provide for aggressive yet quiet and cost effective solutions for cooling in even the most demanding situations.
Beyond features not seen in any other rack system on the market, this rack is a tremendous value when considering that it has the equivalent of $180 in cooling products already built-in. Additional value is created when using additional assemblies because only fan assemblies are required, not complete units.
This rack comes with the option to utilize eight fan assemblies - 7 four fan assemblies and 1 two fan assembly (all quiet 50mm fans). The top tray can accomodate three assemblies, the bottom tray two and three additional assemblies in the center of the rack. This facilitates installing and directly cooling amplifiers in the bottom, perhaps a receiver in the mid section and then generally exhaust the hot air that naturally rises to the top of the rack.
The racks comes standard with two fans assemblies but additional assemblies can be added as needed (purchased separately). The rack also features the ability to install larger 92mm intake and exhaust fans in the top and bottom trays of the racks. Install two or four 92mm fans in the top and or bottom trays for the most extreme cooling! The back center support includes wiring management features as well.
