It is constructed with a special jacket for use in installations where cable is installed underground, in conduit, or in extreme weather conditions. This cable is a parallel Siamese CCTV cable that includes an RG59 coaxial cable and an 18/2 power cable, which is the most common cables used when installing CCTV security cameras. The RG59 coaxial cable is used for the transmission of video signals, and is constructed with a 20 AWG solid center conductor, a 95% copper braid, and includes a direct burial rated/UV rated PVC jacket. The 18/2 power cable is for transmitting power and is a stranded 18 gauge 2 conductor which also includes a direct burial rated/UV rated PVC jacket.
