RTI Virtual Panel
PC-based Control Application
RTI’s Virtual Panel app will allow you to control and monitor the electronics in your environment through an RTI XP series control processor from a PC running Microsoft Windows®. Users can have a completely customizable interface with full two-way feedback from electronics and IP security cameras from either a local or remote networked PC with an Internet connection.

Providing secure local or remote access to an RTI system from any Internet connection, the Virtual Panel allows for LAN control via Wi-Fi and WAN control off site. Whether at work, on vacation, or anywhere in between, users can access the Virtual Panel to adjust thermostats, monitor security systems, turn off lights, and much more, right from their computer.
Fully customizable using RTI’s Integration Designer® programming software, the Virtual Panel interface can be customized to accommodate any size laptop or monitor display and provides full two-way feedback from any compatible RTI XP series control processor.

Virtual Panel App License:
Licensing
Each Integration Designer system file with an XP series control processor comes with one free Virtual Panel license that will work for locally networked PC's. If you wish to have more than one Virtual Panel "connection" to an XP control processor at one time, or need remote access for control, then a Virtual Panel license will need to be purchased. This is a two-step process, that involves purchasing a license code and redeeming this license code, which will generate the file that will be used to enable the Virtual Panel App.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Use of the Virtual Panel from a remote location requires Internet access for the XP series processor using a dynamic DNS service. You can also use a static IP address, which is supplied by the Internet Service Provider (ISP) that is being used at the location.
• Virtual Panel licenses are generated for a specific XP processor MAC address. Every XP processor has a unique MAC address and therefore licenses are not transferrable to another XP processor. No refunds or exchanges will be allowed.
Virtual Panel License
The Virtual Panel license allows a single connection to an XP control processor. This connection can originate from a local network or from Internet using port forwarding. With an Internet connection, you can communicate with RTI control processors from anywhere in the world.
Step 1) Purchase a Virtual Panel License Code
First you will visit our online store to purchase a Virtual Panel license code. You will receive an email with your license code. (ex. 12345678-1234-1234-1234-123456789012)
Step 2) Generate Virtual Panel License File
Once you have received your Virtual Panel License code, you must click the following link to redeem the license code. Upon filling out the form on the Redeem page, a Virtual Panel License file (external.rtilicense) will be generated. This file is "installed" in the RTI file System Properties. To complete this step, you will need the MAC address of the XP series control processor this Virtual Panel license is generated for.
Find MAC Address: Go to the Communications>Send to Device menu of Integration Designer.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Virtual Panel licenses are not transferrable to another XP8. No refunds will be given.
